If you are a music lover and you enjoy actually being able to hear the performer without having to strain to listen over bar noise, espresso machines, and noisy patrons, then perhaps hosting a house concert is the perfect way for you to hear Vanessa live and in person!

House concerts are a great way to hear a performer in an intimate setting. They are Vanessa's favorite kind of show, because she can tell her wacky, rambling, one-of-a-kind stories without having to shout into the mic to deliver the punch line. Plus you get to request songs, and finally make out those lyrics you couldn't quite understand with mr. rude cell phone man sitting next to you at the last show.

So how do you do it? Simple. You invite your friends, family, fellow music lovers; if you are comfortable with the idea, Vanessa will invite her other fans in that area. Evite is a great way to handle the RSVPs. The concert can be held indoors or outdoors, with amplification or without. You can make snacks or propose the party to guests as a potluck. You can provide drinks, or make it BYOB. Basically, the party is however you want it to be. Each guest is charged a small cover to pay for Vanessa's expenses and performance, and that's it! The show lasts up to two hours, divided into sets or done as one long show - however you prefer. It is basically a concert made-to-order!
